In this interview, the whole band contributed to answering the questions.

Me: How did you come up with the band name All New Episode?
ANE: Noko came up with the band name, we all just plain loved it.  Noko - Im glad =)
 
Me: How did the band get started?
ANE: Sean met noko and the hunt was on to find the right other members.  We went through a few to find gary and then john but it was worth the wait.
 
Me: How would you describe your sound?
ANE: lol, Dance party punk rock!  We incorporate alot of different styles into what we create.
 
Me: Can you tell us more about your EP Huge Mistake?
ANE: We really worked to fine tune these songs and put our <3’s into the EP.  We love it, hopefully other people do because we can’t wait to record more.
 
Me: Are you working on anymore new music?
ANE: Yessss !! We meet 3x’s a week and we are continuing to create as we go.
 
Me: What sets All New Episode apart from other bands?
ANE: I think its our energy in the music and then more energy in our performance.  We like to have fun ! 
 
Me: What made you want to get into music?
Noki - It was just an unavoidable decision for me. 
John -  i started so young i didnt know i had a choice not to
Sean - music has always been a part of my life and something i do. 
Gary - started as a hobby and instantly became a passion
 
Me: If you could tour with any band, past or present, who would it be?
ANE: Theres alot of amazing bands out there right now so its hard to say.  Perhaps if we just went on warped tour we could play with a bunch instead of a select few.
 
Me: Who are some of your musical influences?
ANE: We all come from different musical backgrounds from classical to punk rock, metal to do op .. 
its the diversity in our choices that creates our sound.
 
Me: Who have you been listening to lately? 
Noko -  i just got the holy mess’s new album when i caught them in ny
Gary - Just this minute ? it was avenged sevenfold =)
Sean - kings of nothing, the bouncing souls
John - depeche mode, flock of seagulls, spin doctors
 
Me: What’s your biggest accomplishment as a band so far?
ANE: This interview, duhhhh !! Also a shout to Your Label Records and LoveTagLA for support !
Steven Bonge for the EP art and Killingsworth Studios for the awesome recordings.
 
Me: Is there anything else that we should be on the lookout for within the next year?
ANE: We’re hoping to make a lot of big moves in the next coming year.  We are definately looking to record more and tour to support it.  For now we have a ton of ny shows that you can check out on our facebook page (www.facebook.com/allnewepisode)

Michelle: What is your songwriting process like?
ANE: It can work in a bunch of different ways .. but basically it breaks down to someone having an idea and the band jamming it out until we derive some structure and feel.  Noko adds lyrics and some edge to it and its fine tuned for a few weeks. 
 
Nikki: What would you say to those who have just recently discovered your music?
ANE: Check out out our live shows if your in the ny area.  Otherwise email us to become part of our street team so you can help us spread our sound and ultimately help us to tour to your area.  Also, support your local bands and venues who support this great music scene.

ANE: Thank you for checking us out.  We love the music we create so having other people appreciate it makes it even more awesome for us!  It also puts people at our shows, lol.
